SupportThe opening of the “Faces of the Ukrainian Dream” exhibition in Antalya marked another significant milestone for our children’s project.
During the official opening, important words were shared by Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrii Sybiha, his wife, Tetiana Sybiha, the founder of the Ukrainian Diplomatic Spouses Association, and the Mayor of Antalya, Muhittin Böcek.
“Unfortunately, our children wake up and fall asleep every day to the sounds of sirens and bombings carried out by Russia… Despite everything, we remain strong, and our children keep what matters most — their dreams. They dream of peace, peaceful skies, planes in the sky, the singing of birds… We are raising our children not for war, but for their safety. And our children continue to dream, continue to create. That’s why these drawings are filled with light, hope, and dreams,” said Tetiana Sybiha during the opening.
“I wish all of us that we could guarantee a childhood for our children. That they could have their childhood, their future.This exhibition is evidence that, no matter how hard the enemy tries, they cannot take away our children’s dreams, the future that our children will create with their own hands. The victims of war are horrific, but it is especially terrifying when children suffer,” said Andrii Sybiha.
“With the opening of this exhibition, today we join the important cause with Minister Sybiha and Mrs. Tetiana, as children and youth are our future… On behalf of all the Turkish people, I want to once again say that we share your pain and losses, and sincerely wish that very soon, all the children in Ukraine will have a bright and happy future,” said Antalya Mayor Muhittin Böcek.
