SupportDuring the second stage of our children’s project, we set out to expand the boundaries of creative expression, giving kids a chance to express themselves not only through traditional drawing techniques but also through digital art.
Digitization is an inseparable part of Ukraine’s future. Today’s children learning digital tools, computer graphics, and specialized programs are already preparing to become active participants in the country’s transformation. We, in turn, are inspired to see a tablet or computer become more than entertainment, turning into a source of creativity and meaningful expression.
Here are just a few powerful stories and artworks from our young participants, sharing their dreams:
Sofiya Us:
“Life changed completely when the rockets started flying – it’s terrifying, and only a few friends stayed.”
Sofiya drew a burning Moscow. “I want to cheer up Ukrainians,” she said, when asked about the meaning of her artwork, expressing a dream many Ukrainians understand deeply.
Veronika Ovcharova:
“My Ukraine is a beautiful, brave, and unique woman. She is the beauty and guardian spirit of our people. I dream that everyone who has suffered will one day find peace and a passion for life again.”
Roman Taran:
“Many of my friends fled abroad. The war is very close. My sister and I are always ready to evacuate. But since February 2024, our family has been volunteering – weaving camouflage nets and collecting aid for displaced people…”
Roman dreams of the future in science and space:
“I dream of space tourism. I want to become an engineer and work at a space factory. Leonid Kadeniuk inspires me. And… there are no Russians in space :)”
A child’s dream knows no borders. It grows even amidst air raid sirens and uncertainty, even when the world around them is changing. And it is children, with their boundless imagination, honesty, and digital courage, who are already showing us the path to the future.
