Project “Caring for Those in Need”: Public Organisation “All-Ukrainian Association Patriot” procures aid for the seriously ill

The Public Organisation “All-Ukrainian Association Patriot” continues implementing the project “Caring for Those in Need,” aimed at supporting seriously ill individuals in frontline regions and cities under bombardment. In wartime, access to palliative care is severely limited, leaving thousands of bedridden people without adequate support. Our mission is to provide these most vulnerable citizens with the essentials they require.

This initiative has been made possible thanks to the unwavering support of our friends from Japan. Our collaboration with Ryutaro-san and Yesashi-san began in October 2022, when they personally delivered aid to Ukraine. Since then, moved by the shared hardship, they have twice provided remote financial support, allowing us to promptly procure life-saving supplies. This partnership is a vivid demonstration that compassionate hearts know no borders, even across thousands of kilometers separating Japan and Ukraine.

As part of the third major procurement, totaling UAH 150,104.39, we acquired:

  • 500 packs of Blue White body-cleaning towels
  • 120 packs of adult diapers Flexi Life (size M)
  • 68 packs of adult diapers Flexi Life (size XL)
  • 120 packs of adult diapers Flexi Life (size L)

Our team witnesses firsthand the immense need for basic care for the seriously ill. Diapers, hygiene products, and bed pads are not a luxury, but a foundation for a dignified life for those fighting illness under the conditions of war. We work to ensure that everyone in need can receive help, feeling the care and support that guarantee dignity in any circumstances.
