Residents of the “Patriot” Shelter in Zaporizhzhia had the opportunity to undergo a qualified medical examination by an ophthalmologist. Everyone who wished received consultations, which is an important step in ensuring quality medical care for people who have lost access to usual services.
During the examination, the doctor provided qualified consultations. Four residents were recommended for surgery, while others received advice regarding the replacement of glasses and general eye care.
This initiative is part of our work aimed at providing comprehensive support to the residents of the shelter, which includes not only housing but also medical assistance — something especially important under conditions of limited access to specialized services.
