“Faces of the Ukrainian Dream” at the Sorochynsky Fair in Switzerland

In Versoix, Canton of Geneva, the Sorochynsky Fair, dedicated to Ukraine’s National Flag Day, took place. As part of the event, the exhibition of children’s works, “Faces of the Ukrainian Dream”, was presented in Switzerland for the second time.

This project, initiated by our organization, showcases to the world the dreams of Ukrainian children for peace, safety, and a happy childhood through their drawings and stories. The exhibition reminds adults of what Ukrainians are fighting for and inspires the international community to support Ukraine.

The event, which combined Ukrainian authenticity and creativity, gathered distinguished guests, including the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Swiss Confederation, Iryna Venediktova, and the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Office in Geneva, Yevheniy Tsymbalyuk.

Such initiatives are crucial for preserving and promoting Ukrainian culture abroad and for reminding the world that the war in Ukraine continues. Participation in these projects helps foreigners better understand Ukraine’s realities and show solidarity with those fighting for a happy future for their children.
