SupportDuring national holidays, Ukrainian children once again shared their dreams of the future with the world. The Faces of the Ukrainian Dream project simultaneously presented children’s drawings and stories in Turkey, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
The exhibition at Bletchley Park, UK, opened on August 14 and continues to attract attention. Recently, it was visited by a BBC crew, who spoke with visitors and project participants, highlighting the international interest in children’s testimonies of the war.
On August 24, Ukraine’s Independence Day, new exhibition installations were presented in Geneva and Antalya. Amid the festive atmosphere of Ukrainian music and dance, the children’s artworks became a particularly powerful focus of the events. Visitors shared deeply moving impressions:
- “It was very touching to watch a Swiss woman explain each drawing to her son in French for over half an hour, trying to convey the emotions of the children who created them.”
- “This exhibition was both painful and inspiring. The children’s works remind us, adults, of our responsibility and of the cost of war.”
Each viewer discovers something personal in these artworks—memories, pain, hope, or gratitude. This is the power of the project: it leaves a lasting mark on every visitor’s heart.
