World of knowledge, care, and action: first aid training for children and adults

Last week and this week, we had a great opportunity to work with children of different ages, from the youngest kindergarten pupils to school students.

Five-year-old children enthusiastically entered the world of rescuers. Divided into teams, they learned how to help each other in a playful format. There were many emotions, genuine interest, and first important skills.

Older school students approached the training in a more conscious way and learned first aid skills. They practiced identifying critical bleeding, applying tourniquets, and performing wound packing.

In addition, last weekend, the instructor team “Medpatriot” took part in an ethnographic festival at the invitation of the NGO “Veselka nad Tysou”. Our audience included guests of the “Beltane Festival”, people of different ages without medical education, but with a strong desire to learn something important.

We are grateful to every participant for their trust, openness, and willingness to learn. First aid skills are something thatcan truly save lives.
