SupportOn 21 June 2026, the international exhibition “Faces of the Ukrainian Dream” was presented in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, during the LifeLine Ukraine 2026 Forum of Resilience.
The forum brought together representatives of the Ukrainian and Dutch governments, diplomats, security experts, local government officials, civil society organisations, international partners, and volunteers for an important discussion on societal resilience in times of war and crisis.
The “Faces of the Ukrainian Dream” exhibition was one of the event’s key exhibitions, alongside the international WASH in WAR exhibition and a presentation of LifeLine Ukraine’s humanitarian activities. Visitors had the opportunity to view drawings and stories created by Ukrainian children, who use art to express their experiences, losses, hopes, and dreams for the future.
The exhibition drew attention to the impact of war on Ukraine’s youngest generation while also demonstrating their resilience, belief in victory, and aspiration to live in a free, peaceful, and prosperous Ukraine.
Among the forum participants were Andrii Kostin, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of the Netherlands; representatives of Ukrainian communities from frontline regions; the mayors of Bucha, Vilniansk, and Snihurivka; representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, government institutions, as well as Dutch politicians, experts, and representatives of international organisations.
LifeLine Ukraine has been one of our trusted partners since the very first days of the full-scale invasion. The organisation consistently supports residents of Ukraine’s frontline communities, implements humanitarian projects, assists internally displaced persons, and supports the residents of the Patriot Shelter in Zaporizhzhia.
It is a great honour for our team to represent the voices of Ukrainian children on international platforms and to remind the world that behind every statistic of war are real people, real stories, dreams, and hopes.
