Free First-Aid Training for Civilians

On August 29, Kyiv will host another free first-aid training session for civilians. The training will be conducted by the Veterans Corps in cooperation with the All-Ukrainian Association “Patriot,” MedPatriot, and National Resistance.

Over the course of four hours, participants will work under the guidance of instructors to develop practical skills needed to provide assistance in critical situations before medical professionals arrive.

During the training, participants will learn how to:

  • assess the situation and determine the appropriate first steps;
  • stop life-threatening bleeding;
  • properly apply a tourniquet;
  • provide first aid for injuries;
  • act before medical professionals arrive and in dangerous conditions.

The main focus will be on practical training. The theoretical part will cover the essential response algorithms, after which participants will have the opportunity to practice each skill themselves.
