Last week was extremely busy and eventful for our organization. Daily shipments remained unchanged: mountains of equipment were received, packed, and sent to the front line. Amazing people came to help. It is definitely not harder for us than for our guys at the front, so our entire team works in unison as one. We thank all our superheroes for their help.
Over the past few days alone, we have sent aid to the units worth 1,925,000 UAH. Thanks to the support of our donors and partners, we were able to purchase the necessary tacmed and deliver it to the guys at the front line in time. War does not wait!
500 kilometers separate Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia, where our Patriot shelter is located. A month of important events and activities have taken place there. The project “Assistance for Victims of Occupation” is primarily about people who lost their homes because of the war. We are called to help and support those who need it. The residents of our shelter are incredible people with incredible stories. They have become each other’s family and support in this difficult time.
Thanks to our donor, the Hungarian Ecumenical Relief Service, we will be able to equip a playground for the children of our shelter so that they can play and have a bright childhood.
A lecture on mine and drone safety was also held, where experienced instructors discussed the most important things—how to recognize danger and how to act in critical situations. This is extremely important for everyone living in frontline areas.
We also implemented our “small” project with a strong child’s spirit, “Faces of the Ukrainian Dream.” Our children’s drawings and dreams appeared on the main city light in Europe. This project is about love, care, and dreams that are meant to come true. We have opened exhibitions with children’s works in three locations in Kyiv: Gulliver (2nd floor), BC Senator (1st floor), and Blockbuster (2nd floor). Come find out how the war has changed the lives of children and their dreams for themselves and Ukraine.
Today is Monday, and another week has passed, and we realize that it was full of challenges, events, fatigue, joy, new discoveries, and fatigue again – but such a pleasant one.
It’s all about PEOPLE – those who are near or far, but most importantly – our family.
Let’s break into a new, no less bright, and eventful week!
Our team is a dream team. Thank you all!
