SupportOur Patriot Shelter in Zaporizhzhia is currently home to 37 residents, each of whom has found a roof over their heads, support, and hope for a better future.
June has become a month of inspiration and dynamic work for us, filled with events, trainings, meetings, and invaluable assistance from our partners and donors.
At the initiative of the WHO, Dnipro+, and Uk Med Zaporizhzhia, we met with our residents to discuss the availability of public health services and the fight against seasonal diseases.
It was especially important to organize three distributions of food parcels and clothing, which helped more than 100 families receive the necessary assistance.
Our Hungarian Ecumenical Relief Service partners are helping us create a new outdoor children’s space, equipping it with a modern playground and sandbox where children can play and enjoy themselves, forgetting about all the troubles.
We have also updated the common kitchen area with new equipment and a cooker hood, for which we are incredibly grateful to our partners. These changes have significantly improved the living conditions of our residents, creating a cosy and comfortable environment for their and comfortable living environment.
Within the framework of our project ‘Assistance to Victims of Occupation,’ Shelter Patriot tirelessly supports individuals, families, and children who have lost their homes and need help. Their stories, full of pain and loss, but also hope and fortitude, inspire us to continue our mission.
