As of 21 September, we have 39 people living with us, 15 of whom are children. These are large families, people with disabilities, and single residents from the occupied Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions who have nowhere else to go.
Our team also includes girls from the occupied territories, for whom Shelter has become not only a home but also a place of work.
Evenings in Zaporizhzhia are becoming dangerous because of regular shelling. -Girls, are you okay? -Nearly… -We’re all in the shelter! -Are you okay? -Yes. Fortunately, everyone was safe and the night passed in safety.
The children continue to study online, but we also organize offline activities, such as English classes, which the children are happy to attend to learn new skills.
Thanks to our shelter and playground, the children can spend their time safely and their mothers can get some rest.
If you know of organizations that are ready to support our children or want to organize activities, we are always open.
We thank our tireless volunteers from Vynohradar and especially Serhiy Ser for the bags of flour and their constant support.
