The year 2025 for the project “Faces of the Ukrainian Dream” began symbolically – with the opening of the first international exhibition in Ankara, Turkey. With the support of the Embassy of the United States and the Embassy of Ukraine in Turkey, the American House in Kyiv, and the Turkish-American Association, this event became an important voice of Ukrainian children in the international space.
It was from Ankara that the project’s expansion beyond Ukraine began. During 2025, 18 exhibitions took place in six countries: Hungary, Italy, Switzerland, Serbia, and the United Kingdom. They were visited by diplomats, representatives of foreign embassies, government authorities, journalists, and thousands of concerned people. Each exhibition became a space for dialogue about childhood, war, dreams, and the responsibility of the adult world.
A particularly significant event of the year was the large-scale meeting in November at the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War – “Children of Ukraine: the future during and after the war.” Here, the state, civil society, and professionals came together for an honest conversation about the abduction and deportation of children, education under shelling, preservation of identity, and future state policy.
In November, we also presented the exhibition of the second stage of the project for the first time. It brought together more than 400 participants, and 35 winners received gifts from the team and partners. A separate and important mission was the collection and delivery of gifts for Saint Nicholas Day – more than 100 children received their long-awaited presents.
Ahead are new countries, formats, and stories in 2026. But all of this would have been impossible without our partners, friends of the project, volunteers, and everyone who supports Ukrainian children.
Together with the children, every year we make one wish – peace. A peaceful childhood without explosions and air-raid sirens, with offline learning, dreams, and joyful meetings. And we are doing everything possible to make this dream a reality.
Thank you to everyone who walks this path together with us!
