SupportThe summer holiday period provided teachers with an opportunity not only to rest but also to strengthen their professional skills, particularly in the field of first aid.
Over the course of three days, a Basic Life Support (BLS) training course was conducted for teachers. During the course, participants learned response algorithms for critical situations, practised essential hands-on skills, and developed the confidence to respond effectively to medical emergencies.
A total of 60 teachers completed the training, gaining the knowledge needed to quickly assess emergency situations, make informed decisions, and provide first aid before emergency medical services arrive.
Training programmes such as this play an important role in improving safety within the educational environment, as teachers are often the first people to respond when emergencies occur.
