SupportOn 9 May, the team of Patriot NGO and the Faces of the Ukrainian Dream project had the honor of being invited to the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Estonia for a reception marking the opening of the Ukrainian cultural festival UKUfest in Tallinn.
At a time when Ukraine is fighting not only for its freedom but also for its right to be heard around the world, culture has become an especially powerful voice. That is why gatherings such as this are far more than official events. They provide a space for bringing together people who, through art, creativity, humanitarian initiatives, and personal stories, continue to share with the world the story of Ukraine – vibrant, talented, and resilient.
In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, we had the opportunity to engage with Ukrainian artists, civil society representatives, and friends of Ukraine in Estonia, discuss cultural projects that strengthen Ukraine’s voice abroad, and explore future charitable and creative collaborations. It was particularly inspiring to see how people of different generations and professions are united around Ukrainian culture today – all those who believe in the power of art as a language of memory, support, and hope.
For our team, meetings like this are yet another confirmation that the Faces of the Ukrainian Dream project, which shares the stories of Ukrainian children through their drawings and dreams, resonates far beyond Ukraine’s borders and has become part of a broader international cultural dialogue.
We are sincerely grateful for the warm, friendly, and exceptionally hospitable welcome extended by His Excellency Volodymyr Boiechko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Estonia, and his wife, Mrs. Yuliia Boiechko.
Evenings like this leave behind more than pleasant memories. They reinforce a sense of shared purpose – a reminder that every voice, every exhibition, and every child’s drawing helps the world better understand Ukraine.
