“Faces of the Ukrainian Dream” Exhibition concludes triumphal journey across Turkey

On July 1, an important stage of the exhibition journey of the project “Faces of the Ukrainian Dream” concluded, covering six cities in Turkey. During a time filled with global noise and uncertainty, the dreams of Ukrainian children became genuine beacons of hope, reminding us why it is worth moving forward.

The project united people from different countries, allowing over 1,000 visitors in Turkey to see what Ukrainian children dream about despite the war, pain, and losses. The journey began on January 7, 2025, in Ankara, at the Turkish-American Association, with the ceremonial opening of the first overseas exhibition. Thirty works out of 215, depicting the real stories and hopes of children, were presented.

In March, the exhibition traveled to Çeşme (Izmir) with the support of the Alaçatı Tourism Association and the Embassy of Ukraine in Turkey, becoming part of the “Bridge of Hope” initiative. Simultaneously, the exhibition was shown in language colleges in the cities of Söke, Didim, and Nazilli, with the assistance of the Turkish-American Association.

A special moment occurred in April with the opening in Antalya, attended by the Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andriy Sybiha, his wife Tetiana, and the city’s mayor. The exhibition was also welcomed by the Bülent Ecevit Cultural Center, emphasizing its international significance.

The NGO “All-Ukrainian Association Patriot” expresses sincere gratitude to all partners: the Regional English Language Office (RELO) and the U.S. Embassy in Turkey, the Turkish-American Association (TAA), the Embassy of Ukraine in Turkey, the Alaçatı Tourism Association, and the American House in Kyiv. Their support, trust, and cooperation made this journey possible.

This story is about people uniting for a common goal: to bring the voices of Ukrainian children to the world. For us, it was important not only to showcase the beauty of children’s creativity but also to highlight the resilience and hope reflected in every drawing. We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported the project and attended the exhibitions. Your attention is a signal to children that they are heard and supported worldwide.

Ahead lie new countries and new encounters, where the voices of Ukrainian children will continue to be heard.
