russia does not stop the process of destroying the Ukrainian nation and does it by all possible means. One of the most dangerous is mining.
About 30% of Ukraine’s territory is mined. More than 174,000 square kilometers are contaminated with explosive devices. Eliminating various types of mines and other deadly objects will take decades.
At a meeting with a real pro, an experienced sapper, and a tactical medicine instructor from the “Patriot” and Ukrainian Legion, we discussed how to act in actual conditions when an object next to you could become a threat. We discussed how to help a wounded man on a minefield and many other exciting things, especially the signs of mining that every military man, every combat medic, and, preferably, all civilians should know.
Oleg, a man with a capital M, impressed us and all the listeners with his experience and professionalism. During the years of the full-scale invasion, he had a lot to share, and we listened to his stories and advice with great enthusiasm.
