SupportAugust for Shelter “Patriot” in Zaporizhzhya was full of events.
As of the morning of 2.09.2024, 31 people live in our Shelter, including 10 children. Yesterday, a family from Pokrovsk arrived and we are glad that we have the opportunity to do everything possible to create comfortable conditions for people affected by the war.
“Help for Victims of Occupation is a project about people and their stories, about how the war has changed the lives of each of them. We care about children who are our future and who deserve a peaceful and happy childhood. Shelter children started school today.
The opening of a playground on the Shelter’s territory was one of the most important events of August. It brought joy to our little residents and visitors of the clubs. All children should have a space for play and development, and we are trying to do this.
Weaving camouflage nets for our defenders has become an integral part of the leisure time of Shelter residents and staff.
The opportunity for young people to get involved is a transfer of a great volunteer experience and a joint contribution to helping our troops.
A concert was organized for Shelter residents, which became a real holiday and a moment of joy for everyone. The event put smiles on people’s faces and helped them forget about the bad weather for a while.
We would like to express our gratitude to our partners from LifeLine Ukraine for the loan of the vehicle, which is now actively used for the needs of the residents and children living in Shelter.
We continue our mission to take care of each resident, creating an atmosphere of comfort, support, and unity for them. We believe that together we can overcome all difficulties and give our people hope for a better future.
