Playground opening in Shelter Patriot in Zaporizhzhya

On 6 August, our Zaporizhzhya Shelter Patriot opened a children’s playground. This important event was attended by representatives of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, local council members, representatives of the city administration’s social protection department, and other departments. We are sincerely grateful to them for their support and active participation.

Among the guests were our international partners from Japan, Ukrainians in Japan “Krayany,” Hungary, Hungarian Ecumenical Aid Service, and representatives of USAID – US Agency for International Development and World Vision International. Their presence underscores the importance of our project, “Assistance to Victims of Occupation.” Together, we are creating conditions for the recovery and development of children who have survived the horrors of war.

We would like to express our special gratitude to our Hungarian donors from the Hungarian Ecumenical Relief Service for their significant and meaningful contribution, implementation, and funding. This is a contribution that cannot be overestimated, as it gives children joy and hope.

The playground will become an island of joy and recovery for many children who have lost their normal childhood due to the occupation.

We are grateful to everyone who contributed to this important event. Together, we can overcome any difficulties and create a new, happy future for our children. Let us continue to work towards a common goal and support each other in these difficult times.
