The celebration of Saint Nicholas Day is still alive in our hearts, as last week we received warm words of gratitude from parents. This is the best confirmation that together we managed to create something truly beautiful and important.
Behind this celebration stands a great and invisible effort. Dozens of decisions every day, hundreds of messages, concern for every small detail, and responsibility for every package. We hurried, checked the details – all for the sake of one moment.
The moment when more than one hundred children received not just gifts, but a feeling of joy, warmth, and faith in a miracle. For some, it was a long-awaited surprise; for others, a reason to smile for the first time in a long while; and for some, a quiet confirmation that they are remembered, even during difficult wartime days.
And then comes the realization: a celebration does not appear by itself. It is born where people unite, put their hearts into it, and make the impossible possible.
But our work does not end here. There are many more projects and people ahead who need support. We continue to give special attention to our defenders – those who hold the sky and the land for us every day. We continue, because we cannot do otherwise.
