Story of a Participant in the Project “Faces of the Ukrainian Dream”: Yeseniya Kovalova

New Year miracles truly exist. When our team was looking for helpers for Saint Nicholas, we were most worried about our ward, Yeseniya. Her dream seemed almost impossible. She, still a very young teenage girl, wrote a collection of poems dedicated to her father, who died defending his country. She really dreamed of seeing it published. We honestly worried whether we would be able to find someone who would believe in this dream as strongly as she did.

And a real miracle happened. Someone with a big heart decided to help and took on making Yeseniya’s dream come true. The book went to print, and for us, it was a moment of genuine joy and tears of happiness.

But the path to the dream turned out to be longer than we expected. For more than two months now, the book has been printing very slowly due to constant power outages at the printing house. We all wait together with Yeseniya, and with each day, we get closer to this special moment.

And very soon we will be able to share a great event with you: the presentation of the book by a little poet who once simply believed in her dream and did not give up.
