SupportThe second location on the project map was Viimsi Parish – a picturesque coastal area on the Baltic Sea, which has become a second home for one of our project participants, Oleksandra Petrusenko. Due to the full-scale war, the girl and her mother were forced to leave Ukraine and found refuge here.
It is especially symbolic for us that the exhibition opened in a community that supported a Ukrainian family during such a difficult period of their lives. The Faces of the Ukrainian Dream project shares the stories of Ukrainian children with the world – their experiences, hopes, losses, and dreams of a peaceful future.
We sincerely thank the Municipality of Viimsi, Mayor Siiri Visnapuu, Deputy Mayor for Culture and Sports Illia Banu, as well as all partners and friends of the project for their assistance in organizing the exhibition, warm welcome, and support for Ukrainian children. It is thanks to such people that children’s voices can be heard far beyond Ukraine’s borders.
Ahead lie new cities, new encounters, and new opportunities to tell the world about Ukrainian children who continue to dream even in times of war.
