SupportOn April 24, Medpatriot.ua instructors conducted the STOP the BLEED training for one of the educational institutions in Kyiv.
56 children and 4 teachers took part in our educational event.
The children were interested in the process because gaining new knowledge and skills in first aid in case of critical bleeding is extremely important in the modern and real world.
Bleeding is the number 1 cause of preventable deaths from injuries. A team of qualified instructors taught the children how to act immediately to save and save lives.
According to the program, students and teachers who attended the training now know:
1. How not to endanger themselves and how not to become the next victim.
2. How to call for help and what to say.
3. How to recognize threatening bleeding.
4. Algorithm of actions and ways to stop threatening bleeding.
The STOP THE BLEED training allows you to take measures to minimize mortality from severe bleeding and teaches you to assess the volume and rate of blood loss to identify life-threatening bleeding.
Conducting such trainings for children is an essential component of our team’s educational activities.
We are sincerely grateful to the teachers and organizers of the 108th school in Kyiv for the opportunity to teach children how to act in critical situations and do everything possible to save lives.
