On Saturday, another free STOP THE BLEED® first aid training session was held for civilians.
46 participants chose to spend their weekend not only doing something useful for themselves, but also contributing to the safety of their loved ones and those around them. In wartime, knowing how to respond correctly in the first minutes after an injury or accident can save a person’s life.
During the training, participants learned the algorithm for providing assistance in cases of life-threatening bleeding and practiced the practical skills of applying a tourniquet, wound packing, and direct pressure. They also learned how to act correctly until medical professionals arrive.
The training was organized by the NGO All-Ukrainian Association “Patriot” and the MedPatriot educational project, together with the Kyiv Veterans Corps and the Kyiv Center for Training Citizens for National Resistance. We continue to provide free training because we believe that a strong community begins with people who know how to act in emergency situations.
Thank you to every participant for your trust, active participation, and willingness to learn. Every person who masters first aid skills is another chance for a life to be saved in a critical moment.
